The last sampler of the Electric Magic series was released when the magazine turned into a record label, and here is an early showcase of our releases with further contributions from friendly bands like The Harvest (from Gotha, Germany), Juicy Mother (from Wernigerode, with ex-Terraplane bassist Florian Furtner) and Pater Nembrot, who remained quite an underdog throughout their career, like so many other Italian bands in particular.

As has (rightfully) already been said elsewhere, this band and album are "absolute fire." Despite the doom-gloom cover art, this type of rock music is a positive force. Especially without vocals, which for me is a bonus. Dale Lloyd

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
